Band Weaving on Rigid Heddle Loom
The very versatile rigid heddle loom may be used to weave more than evenweave fabrics. It may also be used to weave weft-faced tapestry weaving as well as warp-faced bands and straps.
In this 4-hour workshop, we will go over how warp-faced bands and straps may be woven on the rigid heddle loom. The workshop package includes a 12-dent reed (retails at $67) and a belt shuttle (retails at $21).
4 hours, $140
The 12-dent reed included in the class kit is designed for use on the 15” Cricket Loom from Schacht. If you have a rigid heddle loom from another manufacturer and would like to attend this class, please contact us for a discussion for the option to switch out the reed for one that would fit on your loom. This may involve topping up the additional cost for the reed.
Please get in touch with us using the enquiry tab below to see about scheduling a private class if you are keen to schedule a session not listed in the calendar.
