Add-Ons Options : Holding Charges For Spinning Wheels & Weaving Looms

$30/Week
Spinning Wheel Bobbins

If you intend to use our spinning wheels from Kromski, Schacht and Spinolution to spin and ply an entire braid of fibre, it may take more than one studio session to complete. To store your work-in-progress on our spinning wheel bobbins, a holding charge applies.

$20/Week*
Rigid Heddle Looms

If you intend to use our collection of rigid heddle looms, ranging from 8” to 32” wide from Ashford, Kromski and Schacht, to produce your own handwoven fabric, it may take more than one studio session to complete. To keep your work-in-progress on our looms, a holding charge applies.

$100/Week*
Table/Floor Looms

If you intend to use our collection of table and floor looms from Ashford, Louet and Schacht, to produce your own handwoven fabric, it may take several days to complete. To keep your work-in-progress on these looms, a higher holding charge applies due to the limited numbers of such equipment.

* As weaving projects on the rigid heddle, table and floor looms can take up to weeks to complete, and the looms cannot be utilized for other projects during this period, we typically collect four weeks of holding charges at the onset. If the project is completed before the four-week period, the charges for each unused week will be refunded.

We do provide warping and dressing services to prepare looms for specific requirements. The charges for this service is based on the estimated time required for us to complete the preparations. Please contact us with your project parameters for a quotation.
