Hardanger embroidery, a captivating and intricate form of needlework, has its roots in the stunning landscapes of Hardanger, Norway. This traditional textile art, characterized by its delicate lace-like patterns and intricate stitching, has enchanted crafters and textile enthusiasts worldwide. 

This is a workshop designed for participants to experience the art of Hardanger. Participants will be introduced to the tools of the craft as well as the process of this method of embroidery. Participants will select from a variety of motifs to work and in the process, design their own project. They will complete making a pincushion as part of the experience and bringing home their completed project as part of their learning journey.
