Bobbin lace is created by braiding and twisting of threads wound on bobbins. It is a craft that has been around since the 16th century. Though the complexity of some designs may look intimidating, all bobbin lace is created using two moves, with four bobbins at a time.
Learn the basics of bobbin lace in this introductory class. Complete a bookmark in this workshop. You will be provided with available colour options before the class, after you make your booking.
All materials for the workshop will be provided with the option of purchasing a 'lace making tool kit' at an additional cost of $180. The kit retails for $200 in our studio.
