Tencel is a brand of viscose. The raw material of viscose is wood pulp, but also short cotton fibre which is unusable for spinning. The fibre has a lustrous appearance like silk and can be bleached or dyed, and has many applications.

These fibres may be used directly or can be dyed using fibre reactive dyes before use. They can be used alone or blended with other fibres to create unique blends. Fibres can be used for spinning, weaving or needle felting.
