If you have started on your tatting journey and are interested to learn more, how about a whole learning series dedicated to shuttle tatting?
Our revamped learning series offers a manageable learning pace with different techniques introduced in succession. We have designed the course such that the lessons should be taken in numerical sequence. You have the option of purchasing the whole 10 lessons as a package. The sessions are scheduled on Thursday afternoons from 3 to 6pm. You may also book each session individually when you feel ready for the next class.
Tatting is a traditional art of lace making. It may be done using tatting shuttles or tatting needles. Delicate lace designs are created using threads to form rings and chains. The fine lace may be used as trims for clothing and linens, table runners, doilies and decorations. Modern interpretations of the art sees many using it for jewelry, hair accessories and larger pieces as shawls etc.
If you are interested to give shuttle tatting a try, but not ready to commit to a course, you can consider booking an introductory session to shuttle tatting (also known as Lesson 1) here.
Please get in touch with us using the link below to see about scheduling a private class if you are keen to schedule a session not listed in the calendar.
