Customized Activities

Craft Atelier works with schools, organisations, and community groups to design workshops that introduce craft with depth, clarity, and respect for process. Customization allows us to meet the needs of different participants while preserving the integrity of the craft being taught.

Our Approach

Customised programmes are designed collaboratively. We begin by understanding the intention of the request — who the learners are, what the programme hopes to achieve, and how craft supports that aim. From there, we propose formats that are realistic, respectful, and aligned with the nature of the craft while fulfilling the goals of the programme

Whom We Have Worked With

Over the years, we have designed programmes for schools and educational institutions, cultural organisations, community groups, non-profits and social service organisations, and corporate teams seeking hands-on programmes. These collaborations have been well-received for their clarity, pacing, and respect for the craft, and groups have returned to deepen or expand their engagement with us.

Programme Formats

We regularly support programme requests for learning journeys and enrichment programmes, public activations and cultural events, educator training and professional development, and team programmes and organisational retreats. These formats invite participants to encounter craft in ways that match their context, level of interests, and learning goals.

What Can Be Customized

Depending on the group, customization may involve:

  • Choice of craft and workshop format
  • Duration and pacing
  • Group size
  • Thematic framing
  • Learning objectives and takeaways

In all cases, the craft remains central and the emphasis is on attention, making, and encounter.
