Rigid Heddle Weaving Study Group

Rigid Heddle Weaving Study Group

This study group supports intentional practice on the rigid heddle loom through a shared set of themes that invite exploration across different structures and techniques. Participants choose their own materials, colours, and patterns, shaping projects that reflect their interests while developing confidence and fluency at the loom.

Alongside individual work, the group provides a space for shared discussion and exchange, offering feedback and perspective from others engaged in similar practice.

Details

Since this is meant to be a study group, there will not be extensive instructions on project planning, weaving and finishing, or specific manipulation techniques.  Our facilitators can point you to reference resources if needed. Alternatively, participants can choose to take on additional classes or consultations with Craft Atelier outside this study group.
