Double Heddle Weaving on Rigid Heddle Looms
Double Heddle Weaving on Rigid Heddle Looms
This workshop explores the expanded possibilities of the rigid heddle loom when working with two heddles. By increasing sett and manipulating multiple layers of cloth, participants move beyond plain weave to create finer fabrics and more complex structures.
The focus is on understanding how two heddles function together, and how this setup enables new ways of thinking about cloth construction rather than simply following patterns.
